Omniya Tajni M3: Describe legal and ethical considerations required to comply with regulatory bodies for an original media programme Before I record any audio, I need for my radio segment, I need to make sure that I take legal and ethical considerations in order to steer clear of any legal issues that may arise in the production of my radio segment. The first legal issue that I need to address was the release forms. Before I record any audio of the interviewees, I would need to make sure I have consent forms ready with me for them to sign. The reason for this is because they will be able to give me their consent to use and edit their voice and to distribute it when necessary. Omniya Tajni P5: Record an extract of the planned radio programme  Production Diary of the creation for my radio segment - I planned out who I wanted to interview and believe would have a lot to say about the topic I would like to discuss so I narrowed it down to my friend, a mother (family member) and a staff member that works in the dessert restaurants I will be talking about.  - Once I made the decision on whom I wanted to interview, I planned out the questions I would like to ask them based on the topic that I will be discussing, these are the questions I decided to ask the 3 different interviewees: - After I planned out the questions, I planned out dates to interview them where they would be free to sit down and to be interviewed when they are free. Radio has several different ways to be accessed and listened by. Analogue Broadcast This radio allows listeners to tune into the analogue stations on FM/AM frequencies from home radio and car equipment. This radio functions by picking up the audio signal from the transmission site, known as carriers. The electrical waves are transmitted from the station to the analogue radio and are transmitted continuously, without any disruption to the sound. The advantages to this radio station is that it is eco-friendly by comparison to digital radios, which are computer driven and are able to transmit a truer version of the original recording. These are National Commercial Radio, Public Radio and Internet Radio. They all operate differently for different sectors and are available in different mediums depending on the radio channel itself.  National Commercial Radio A national commercial radio are radio stations that produce revenue through advertising. The advertisements are released by companies which find the commercial radio to be a good medium to take their message to their customers. Absolute Radio is an example of this, it is one of the UK’s three Independent National Radio stations and plays popular rock music. Omniya Tajni D2: Evaluate the flow of programme content and audio levels In my radio segment, the client will expect to hear how residents in Tower Hamlets have accessibility to a wide range to dessert/café restaurants in the borough, and members are able to go there to socialise, celebrate an event, or study due to it being local and mobile. I believe that the order of my interviews was quite successful, as I started it off with a friend, followed by a family member and ended with a stranger which is what was required by the client. The only thing that I feel like I should have done was actually interview the stranger, and tell them that it was a staff member at a dessert restaurant. This would have allowed the listeners to know who it is because with the other two interviews I said their name and gave the audience a bit of context such as ‘you are still in college now right?’ and ‘you are a mother of 3 right?’ this enabled the audience to know the name...
